We have compiled resources that parents can use with students at home.

Due to issues of equity and access, Tularosa Schools cannot provide digital learning opportunities in place of in-classroom instruction. The New Mexico Public Education Department has made it clear that instruction shouldn't be provided for just some students.
​
We are providing supplemental learning resources and opportunities for students during this time and planning for any future possible delays.

IStation
Families have access to Istation's Parent Portal, which provides skill-building lessons that parents can go over with their child and includes printable materials for use at home. The Parent Portal can be accessed on any device with a browser, such as a smartphone, tablet, or PC. Email your school administrator or childs teacher for login information if needed.

Khan Academy
​
Kahn Academy is offering practice exercises, instructional videos, and personalized learning -- is hosting live streams every weekday at 10 a.m. on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter for students, parents, and teachers navigating school closures.

Age Of Learning
​
Age of Learning has made available their family of programs free to parents for student at home use during school closures. This includes ABC Mouse, Adventure Academy and Reading IQ. Please see the Age Of Learning Guide for instructions on accessing their programs.
At-Home Educational Resources for Parents & Students -

Beginning Monday, April 6, APS @HOME, will begin broadcasting from 8 a.m. - Noon weekdays on Channel 5.1 over the air, and posting educational programs on the APS YouTube channel. This will give kids in grades K-5 the chance to resume lessons in key topics.
